Allison Schulnik is a painter, sculptor, and filmmaker who lives and works in Los Angeles. Born in 1978, she graduated CalArts in 2000 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in experimental animation. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries internationally and at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, the Santa Monica Museum of Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. She was recently selected as one of the "Ones to Watch" by Art Review. Her work can be seen in the public collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (California), Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art (Kansas), Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego (California), Santa Barbara Art Museum (California), The Chaney Family Collection (Texas), Museé de Beaux Arts (Montreal), Farnsworth Art Museum (Maine), and the Laguna Art Museum (California).
