worlds, 
eels, 
tennis shoes named after you,  
faceless monsters,  
dentists,  
violins, 
paintings by unschooled artists, 
fragments of fingernails, 
specks of dust, 
tears for no one, 
nothingness.

melting styrofoam,
burning secrets, 
wads of tissue,
stains all over 
the motel room.
