The sound was pleasing to 
the ear but carried no inherent
meaning.  A lot like

Your little life without
a me in it to stir things up and play
the music that somehow

Irks at you and wakes you though
finds itself sad upon a 
heart which refuses 
immediate gnawing but

If you'd care to be awakened, 
I'll find a way
