7.

Why would I want to share my poetry?
Why would I want to share anything,
at all?

If the wisdom of my lifetime teaches that
humans are isolated in their skins,
and the constant of loneliness
is not caused by chemical imbalance
or the fluctuations of fate

but because we are utterly and irreversibly alone

Why would I want to teach others these lessons?

People believe in soulmates not because
the philosophy is plausible,
but because it is beautiful, in
strict violation of truth.
Why would I want to take that away from them?

Or any other illusion they keep,
superior to my truths?
