SUN IMAGE SLIDING DOWN

Above a rusted padlock 
securing some garage doors, 
inside and beyond the door's windows, 
a skewed sun image floated, 
extruded from an unseen side window. 

The pattern was canted, 
20 degrees off the vertical, 
the left side panes tinted 
a soft salmon color, 
with one pane on this side 
cracked or missing glass, 
all traversing downward toward north. 

The odd note was, 
there was no apparent reason 
why those particular panes 
were salmon tinted at all.
