Tattoo in a Mirror

She got a tattoo on her right buttock
a rose with Johnny entwined in the thorns
 
she might as well have got her forehead tattoed with a big blue
STUPID
which would have blended well with the purple of her eye
 
of course he'd been sorry
and kissed her
and given her a good fuck, saying
it won't happen again, giving
 
her ass a hard slap as he zipped up and left the room.
 
The smack left a pink mark on her pale skin
right next to the rose
with his thumb curled like a C
the fingers running up and down like a U and N.
 
The tiny mark of his pinky was fading as she looked at it
in the mirror, so it
may have been a cross at the top, but
she couldn't tell
 
reflecting on it as she was.
