Wanderlust
Lead my sore feet to the unexplored wild
Where people can walk undisguised;
Let me inhale that sweet air undefiled
By the presence of man civilized.
Lord, let me vision the beauty sublime
Of the land destiny fawned upon;
Let me believe when I finish the climb
I can bask in the smile of its dawn.
I laugh at your cities in which you are jailed,
Where men are judged by what they own;
Jut give me a ship and a sea never sailed,
And I'll steer for the distant unknown.
