dancing faster.

bringing awareness.

gesturing for more 
   sedatives, 
reaching out to the light.

draining funds.

embarrassing our ancestors, 
making it harder for our children 
   and their children.

pissing off of the side of the boat, 
thinking about baseball.

rendering ourselves obnoxious.

drifting.

slipping, 
staring right into 
   the eyes of the beast, 

watching helplessly as we 
   tear ourselves asunder,

digging our teeth in, 
smacking our thin lips.

moaning in the darkness, 
taking notes.
