The day you ran away
I looked for you along crowded streets
I left the porch light on
Hoping that it would lead you home
And I would hear you knocking at the door
Five years after
I still searched for you
I imagined seeing your face
And hearing your laughter
In the sunny corners of your room
And now,
Now after all this time
The police have finally found you
You are coming home
Coming home to say farewell
