Offerings
by Holly Crawford

Offerings is a dynamic and ever-growing project curated by Holly Crawford that presents art at its most basic: a form of communication, a social exercise, "owned" by no one. It is constantly updated on Holly Crawford's web site and embedded here, and will continue to expand over time.

Holly Crawford, Ph.D. is a multi and cross media artist, poet and art historian. Her art and poetry (www.art-poetry.info) give new meanings and draws categories themselves into question through transformative juxtapositions. Connections and networks are some of the key elements in her work. Recent publications: Attached to the Mouse, and catalogue essay, "Disney and Pop" in Once Upon a Time Walt Disney Studio were both published in 2006. Other projects: Critical Conversations in a Limo, 2006 (DVD) and Artistic Bedfellows, History and Discourse in Collaborative Art Practices, forthcoming, 2007. Born in California, and now lives in New York.
