Stylommatophora: The clade Stylommatophora consists of terrestrial snails and slugs. But, while common named terrestrial snails and slugs, informal group Pulmonata, clade Styllommatophora, appear to superficially resemble sea slugs, informal group Opisthobranchis, (mostly belonging to) clade Nudibranchia, in overall body form, any ranking system which classifies these marine gastropods with Stylommatophora creates a polyphyletic grouping—one whose members’ last common ancestor is not a member of the group. There have been numerous attempts to reconcile the issues with classification and ranking within the class Gastropoda such as this one, the most recent and leading system is that which is set forth by Philippe Bouchet and Jean-Pierre Rocroi in their paper Classification and Nomenclature of Gastropod Families, the system referenced here.1 Bouchet and Rocroi use clades to codify taxa, but do not rank them above the superfamily; and they use the traditional Linaean system for ranking all taxa below the superfamily rank. This creates a hybrid system consisting of informal groups and clades. So, while the clade Heterobranchia contains both informal groups Pulmonata and Opisthobranchia, clades Stylommatophora and Nudibranchia do not share a last common ancestor, and therefore cannot be included together here.

Very free language. Fun. Reminds me of epic:
Bomb them til they know their place, until they show their face, until
they mix their race, until their smile embrace, until they hold their
brace, hold them up in a mirror and shit out a pan of soap and fight
their meat-eating cavities and fresh-faced doe-eyed sisters
our bitches are football-sized appetites and women too busy and anxious
to fuck long for a chador over their head and a daddy
and a brother and a husband who beats the street on horse
back river to let me call my house a home.
