Tzafun explores issues of hiding and seeking between a father and son through the lens of the Passover Seder. During this traditional, festive meal, a piece of matzah is broken in half. One part is consumed, while the other (called the "afikoman") is typically hidden by the father, for the children to find later on. Tzafun was originally produced as part of Projecting Freedom: Cinematic Interpretations of the Haggadah.
