World News Vision is an ongoing set of improvised songs in response to Reuters Television News.
Jude Cowan Montague says, "I work for ITN Source on the Reuters Archive as a researcher and archivist. I began making my World News Vision improvisations early 2011. I went into Bark Studio with Brian O'Shaughnessy in Walthamstow to record these for the fist time in March 2011 with my Microkorg XL and my Minipops drum machine. This basic set up has continued but has been enhanced with percussion and alternative electronic machines."
Jude Cowan was born in Manchester and lives in London. She was awarded a First Class BA (Hons) degree in English Language and Literature by St Edmund Hall, Oxford University, an MA (with Distinction) in Film and Visual Media by Birkbeck College, University of London, and a Ph.D in Film History by Birkbeck College, University of London.
