"Planet Beethoven" is a video-art piece by Genco Gülan. Video footage is from the artist's endoscopic left ear examination by Dr. N. Tan Ergin at American Hospital, Istanbul. Sound is the reversed version of L. von Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 32 In C Minor, Op. 111. This piece may slightly reminds us a lonley planet or a black hole. But Gülan mainly tries to dwell into the psychology of deafness in Beethoven with its electronic sound literally in one's head.
