Another Weapon in Venus's Armory

Love like blood
          carrying disease
hiding in the DNA
          between two amino acids,
                    masquerading as 
healthy.
     A Virus is neither 
alive nor
          inorganic-
it tricks you 
          like the heat 
of a failing, sweaty
          tumble in a
sterile
     Bed-
killing you softly
          and quietly.
Quickly 
          the wounds
are allowed in-
          Venus has a
Trojan
          Horse.
                 Love
bleeding as it laughs
          at your latex 
and your wounds.
