Bohemia in Dixie,
Greek letters decorate
	walls with a
history of college devouring
a cordial southern 
	town--
Losing its religion
	to import
Utopian football players.
	Students soak
up the winter sky and
	the basketball season
in a classic nightclub 
scene filled with
	savant smiles
and lots of beer.
	Rolling hills
with Georgia heritage 
	in native soil
full of barbeque "joints."
The sky is in dusk
	over fifty-year old buildings
as a young girl breathes in
the crisp air in relief
	over returning 
to her new future.
