Burger King Is Down the Street
The elegance of the cafe
To Wolfgang did not matter;
To him what was important was
The food put on his platter.
His wife attended places
With an artistic decor,
But the portions were too small
And Wolfgang always wanted more.
He told the smiling waiter
He did not want to be rude,
But although the place was beautiful,
They served too little food.
The waiter said, "Our patrons come
For more than just to eat;
They revel in our ambience,
And people they can meet,
But if you are still hungry--
Burger King is down the street!"
