A teacher asked her English class
To write, or they would fail,
A sentence which used the three words
DEFEAT, DEFENSE, DETAIL.
A young boy pondered long and hard,
Then wrote, to no avail,
De tomcat jumped over DE FENCE,
DE FEET before DE TAIL.
