Hurricane Hellana
Violent storm
spins out of control
on the unsuspecting
trees that surround her.
She rips assailable limbs out of their sockets
she brakes a branch in half,
disregarding sensitive green leaves
recently born.
Her vitriolic tongue
lashed a house
full of egos,
destroying the looking glass
they once possessed.
Bare and unarmed
the autumn shrubs
finally succumb to her will.
