I Fancy Myself a Dharma Lion

I fancy myself a dharma lion
	who speaks the gospel truth.
Yet truth deems me a mouse-
	a peyote lament for the meek
who will inherit the earth,
	while the bold will
travel to the mind's Valhalla-
	sitting between courage's
infanta and a void, lies
	this cowardly loin.
