"They may spend their whole lives aliens among their kindred and remain aloof among the only scenes they have ever known."
--W. Somerset Maugham

Dark, brooding, and hauntingly romantic, the poems of Cari Oleskewicz tell of love and lust in a world of angels, demons, warriors, and the zombie waltz of those who are tortured by their passions. She weaves Shakespearean tales of disappointment and shame.

Cari says, "I am a 28-year-old writer originally from New England, presently living in Tampa, Florida. I have lived in New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and a small village in Italy called Panicale. I am too restless to stay in once place for very long and I rarely play well with others. I am in touch with my inner child, my inner writer, my inner bitch and my inner lack of patience for over-analysis of the written word.

"I am currently working on an epic poem, which is called THE STORY OF ISABELLA." You can write to Cari at carilynn7@hotmail.com.
