Vegetarian Nightmare
My mouth slathers
while I savor the blood red tissue
dripping with death.
I sink my teeth into the sanguinary flesh
and the taste upon my palate is bitter sweet.
I feel the tepid juices slither down the corners of my mouth
as I ravenously chew and swallow the raw substance
of a live and squirmy mammal
taking one last, desperate gasp for its life.
Ingesting the freshly demised carcass
my insides are filled with exhilaration
and I no longer feel the sufferance of emptiness.
