Squeezed into a suit tailored for a man and analyzed by every undergrad student clutching his SAT results, it's easy to fall into wordplay. Some writers, though, remember what the words are supposed to mean when we play, and use the sport to bring us greater insight into the concepts the words try so hard to represent. Kristen Day is such a writer, and delights us not with mere wordplay, but with analyzation of art and emotion through the simple tossing about of puns.
