To Annalynn Hammond's previous piece
When It’s Good I fold out like a flower opening, fresh petals revealed. Then I shoot out long tendrils and they catch the clouds. Each rise and fall of my chest is a push and a pull, an interaction with the sky. Each step I take is a love dance with gravity. Every blink of my eyelids is a thank you. And my hands don't end at my fingertips. And my feet don't end at my toes.
