Tune In Tomorrow
 
Quick, it's that time again-
viewing the teacher on TV
holding up her magic mirror
calling out names 
like Johnny or Jenny
never once saying
she sees me
 
Face pressing up
against the 12-inch screen
waving my arms wildly
if only she'd notice
maybe she needs glasses
I'd gladly lend her mine
If only she'd say it
 
Sighing, the TV is turned off
disappointed once again
yet I can't wait
to tune in tomorrow
