June 27th      Gene Keller      Singing Worlds: The Lyric Narrative

In an ever-searching process, Gene Keller explores the 99 Names of Poet on the Street of Trees in the State of El Paso. Recent explorations have been in the narrative vein, leading to the publication of Big Tent Jubilee (createspace.com, 2009) — a collection of inter-related short-short lyric narratives (plus poems and songs), — the result of a process he calls Fictry (Fiction / Poetry).

July 11th      Nicholas Matta/ Aux. 78      Word Works

Nicholas Matta is a complete lover of music and musical things. He also works in other art forms, including visual arts and videos, and says that art and music are the way he expresses himself, and are the chronicle of his life. According to Matta, sometimes he learns things about himself from where he's been. Aux. 78 is a solo music project with loose rules. Full albums are available for free at aux78.bandcamp.com. There you can read more about each song, read lyrics and get other goodies. Matta calls himself a musical jester.
