Vague
after seeing you
an uneasy feeling
settled into my
stomach
in the pit
where all uneasy
feelings
seem to settle
shifting
churning
not a burning because
burning
would fill me
like hate burns
like love burns
like need fills
even emptiness fills
just a
vague uncertainty
like something's gone or missing
not even missing, really
something
I never even had
in the first place
I felt it last night
drifting
through me
settling in
as if a half remembered dream or memory
that might
or might not be true
that I can't seem grasp
that I can't seem to feel
for sure
just a vague . . .
uneasy feeling
