A sweet cloud dissolves in wet eyes
Mirages of sand in wet eyes
God's assistant pressed the wrong button again

 

 

who is hiding in military uniform
except children who lack something
and children who are trying to take something away from them?

 

 

The phallus of the gun is afraid to be leaning against the sky because there is no more sky
No one gives a minion to the starpon of the gun
Only cockroaches still pretend to be masters of the world

 

 

Mykyta Ryzhykh is an author from Ukraine who now lives in Tromsø, Norway. He was nominated for the Pushcart Prize in 2023 and 2024, and has been published many times in literary magazines in Ukrainian and English.
