Frank slept until the afternoon, and when he woke up Paula asked if he’d caught any bums on his first night patrol.

“Yeah,” he replied. “Two of ‘em.”

“That’s it?” said Paula. “Seems like there would be more.”

“Yeah. It was a boring night, I guess.”
