timeline of remembrance,
that of leading my still
young wanderings through
cancer and familiar cave,
I became certain of silence, its
speech more relevant amid my
open hands releasing what was
learned among irrelevant
histories
contemplate themes and voodoos,
fountains’ waters evaporating
cold as clarity’s winter on our skin,
vocal
as noon calling toward the
listeners oscillating warmth
