Marianne Szlyk thought she was done with fiction, but fiction wasn’t done with her. It’s apparently the same with politics. Her poems and short stories appear at Mad Swirl, Piker Press, Impspired, Beltway Poetry, Poetry X Hunger, Clockwise Cat, McQueen’s Quinterly, and other venues. She and her husband, the wry writer Ethan Goffman, are attempting to do without a car in the DC suburbs.
